Brachetto: bubbles of joy

I have found my new favorite bubbles!  Bold statement. I know. But for real – I’m so excited to share them with you. Brachetto.  Highly aromatic, red bubbles from the Piedmont region. Its fruity – mixes of strawberry and raspberry flavors – not super sweet like other dessert type wines, but such a great after dinner drink.  I’ve only had it so far with desserts – it pairs nicely with pastries, sweet desserts, and even cheese. But I feel like its so versatile, that I would see myself drinking it pre-meal or maybe even with the right appetizer or starter. I love the flavor without all the sweetness.

I was introduced to this at one of my favorite restaurants in Boston – Menton – and recently, I enjoyed a couple different kinds that I also fell in love with. Below are some of my picks! Oh and before I forget, these bottles are reasonably priced – like around $20! So good!! Go out and go try this!
